There are currently two places to stay overnight in Occidental, which are listed below. In addition, there are several locations, which visitors mistake for hotels or motels, because of their past history or their name. In addition, the Union Hotel allows RV overnight parking (no hookups) in their rear parking lot, at no charge, if you purchase dinner in their restaurant. Contact them for more information. Everything is located in Downtown Occidental and is within walking distance of the restaurants and shops as well as the town's two churches.

Altamont

For many years the Altamont was a hotel and, even today it is called "The Altamont Hotel" or just "The Altamont". Now, it is retail space below with business offices upstairs.

Although it is called the Union Hotel, it has not been a hotel for many years. It is a group of restaurants and banquet facilities. They allow overnight RV parking (no hookups) in their rear parking lot if you purchase dinner in the restaurant. Contact them for more details.

Union Motel

A motel for many years, the Union Motel was recently converted to employee housing for the Union Hotel, due to the high cost of housing in the area. They are no longer offering overnight accomodations.
